Google AI Overview Analysis is a Chrome tool designed for SEOs to analyze and compare links in the AI overview section of Google SERP with traditional results. Launched in May 2024 in the US, this free extension aids in understanding the evolving SERP landscape by scrutinizing cited URLs in the AI Overview.
To utilize this tool, navigate to a Google search results page featuring an AI Overview and click on the extension icon. It presents results in two tables: the AI Overview table and the traditional SERP results table. The extension dynamically updates as you scroll, accommodating additional SERP results and includes analysis of "People also asked" questions.
